On January 16, 2010, Perfect Smiles was proud to assist with the Massachusetts Freemasons Child Identification Program held at Westport High School. This is a free program that provides parents with samples of their child’s DNA as well as wax impressions of their child’s teeth. These impressions capture the child’s scent and can be stored up to 25 years in a freezer in the event that the child ever goes missing. Our office team was happy to assist with taking the samples and will continue to offer our services to this program to better serve our community.
On November 21st, 2009, as part of the Dentistry from the Heart program, we were happy to provide free dental care for adults who were unable to afford needed dental treatment. The event was a great opportunity for us to give back to a community that has been so good to us. Thank you!

The event will take place at our Westport office at 302 Village Way, Westport, MA. Doors will open at 7am.

How lucky we are that fall is so lovely in Southeastern New England. With summer racing past it’s nice to have something to look forward to (even though a few more weeks of summer would have been great!) In his September 1 WSAR interview, Dr. Ahearn announces the addition of Dr. Alan Merchanthouse to Perfect Smiles. Dr. Merchanthouse has extensive experience in advanced esthetic and reconstructive dentistry, including the placement and restoration of dental implants, as well as minimally invasive microdentistry. Dr. Merchanthouse is certified in dental laser use by the internationally recognized Academy of Laser Dentistry and the Biolase World Clinical Laser Institute.
